This space needed to look professional while also evoking creativity, as the client is a full- service advertising agency.  The traditional “cubical” office look, was not what they wanted.  They wanted the space to feel open, allowing natural light to flow, while also providing defined and private workspaces.  Creating the right layout for this client was crucial. 

We started with a blank canvas. The space had been completely gutted, so there were many design directions that could have been taken. 

After understanding the client’s needs and objectives, our Professional Interior Designer in Binghamton  jumped into space planning, designing a unique office layout incorporating the client’s request for open offices, private offices, cozy nooks, social and meeting areas. 

The use of half walls with glass panels define individual work areas providing privacy while maintaining an openness that allows light to flow throughout.  An open ceiling and glass doors on private offices add to the openness of the space. 

The client requested a contemporary aesthetic with pops of deep color.  Accent colors in plum and teal combined with a range of neutral gray values creates a calming yet dramatic space.

The addition of angle graphics in wallcovering, paint, and acoustical panels creates an element of visual interest and represents the creative work done here.  Large format graphic prints emphasize this further.  Overall the space is exactly what the client asked for, open yet private, bold, fun, and creative yet professional and comfortable. 

This was such an enjoyable project and we are thrilled that our client loves this completely transformed space.  From the layout, to the finishes, furniture, light fixtures, and artwork we designed a creative office for a talented team of creatives to thrive in.
