We’ve designed several areas at this Greene, NY facility, from large open office spaces and common areas to executive suites and the CEO’s private office. Every project included objectives for employee morale & productivity as well as representing the corporate identity.
Our Licensed Interior Designer in Binghamton implemented multiple design strategies for a cohesive design. The visual branding of The Raymond Corporation includes a custom color aptly named Raymond Red. It was imperative to include this color in every space, while representing the industrial nature of their business.
A range of silver, gray, and black values combined with stainless metal finishes and clean lined contemporary furnishings echo the industrial element. This combined with Raymond Red as an accent in upholstery, signage, and artwork creates an overall neutral space with visual interest that will stand the test of time.
Systems furniture panels are always challenging in open office areas. They are often solid fabric in order to provide acoustical value and therefore don’t offer any interest or variety in a large space. We selected segmented panels, so the color red could be brought in as an accent, bringing life and vigor to the space.
An especially fun part of our service was designing custom accent tables that the client manufactured on site with steel bases and of course Raymond Red tops. The tables can pull apart to be used individually or placed together as one unit.
This company is rooted in history while it continually looks to the future. It’s important to the executives to make this history known to their team. We selected historic pictures from the company to frame and include in special areas, such as conference rooms, while larger murals with timelines were incorporated into common areas.
