When our client asked us to help them design a home theater that represented the architecture of their favorite vacation spot, we jumped at the challenge.  The client had been vacationing in Mexico for years and wanted to bring that feeling into the design of this space.   But before we could work on the aesthetics we needed to work with the client and other professionals to determine the technology requirements of the space.  How big was the screen going to be, where would the projector and speakers be located, what role did we want lighting to play?

Our Interior Designer in Binghamton created lighting coves in the ceiling with multi-color LED lighting to create adjustable lighting effects at night or bright white lighting during the day to give the illusion of skylights.  When the movie screen is retracted the clients enjoy a beautiful mural.  An architectural feature over the windows incorporates a Mexican inspired element and encases motorized window shades.  Whether visiting with friends or watching a classic film, this space provides comfortable fun while transporting our client to their favorite vacation spot.
